How can i light up my clear cased pc when shutdown?

ok this is the second time i've tried to get an answer to this so pls before i start

1. i am serious

2. yes there is still power available when the pc is shutdown (not switched off)

Now thats out the way i'll explain a little more,

I have a clear cased pc, when i turn it on it lights up blue, when i shut it down the lights go off but there is small red glow that comes from the motherboards red power indicator LED. this led turns green when system is turned on.

i want to add some more red leds to enhance its shutdown state but i dont want to modify the motherboard in any way.

I have the leds i wish to install but need help on powering them when the pc is shutdown.

i dont want a stand alone circuit or something i have to switch on, i want it to come on automactically like the mobo power light.

pls dont answer this question if you can't help

When you shut down there is no power to the Motherboard or any other part of the computer.

That LED I would think is powered by the CMOS battery on the motherboard to show that it is good, because they don't basically take any power to run.

When it turns green it means that the CMOS battery has been switched off by the power in the motherboard whilst it's running on PSU power.

But you would have to check the schematics of the board to confirm this.

The only way to tap power from the PSU is from the lead going to the on switch as that would be live all the time. But you would have to check what voltage it is with a Volt Meter. How can i light up my clear cased pc when shutdown?
This isnt going to be possible without another circuit board really.

The best way to do would be to have a circuit on something like the power LED.

so when the power LED is on, the RED LED's are off and vice versa.
