Miscarrage 1st trimester question- light pink, clear, thin blood in AM, now it's fine.?

I have an appt today for the first sono and exam. I feel ok, just worn out and my stomach is upset. Could this mean twins or something strange or is it always a bad sign, like a miscarriage? I'm not an alarmist, so hit me...Miscarrage 1st trimester question- light pink, clear, thin blood in AM, now it's fine.?
The rule from my midwife:

Blood on its own is no problem

Cramping on its own is no problem

Blood + cramping = seek immediate medical attention.

So blood + upset tummy = blood + morning sickness ;)

Also if you had sex recently that could cause blood as well ;) If you had a vaginal sonogram that could DEFINITLY cause bleeding by annoying the cervix. If they did an internal exam that could cause bleeding. Basically if anything enters your vagina far enough to touch your cervix it can cause bleeding. Not to worry it is just cervical bleeding.

Take care.Miscarrage 1st trimester question- light pink, clear, thin blood in AM, now it's fine.?
if you have your sonogram today i wouldn't worry if there is anything majorly wrong the notice it immediately other than that just watch what your doing and take it easy. once your past 12wks you don't have to really worry about a miscarriage. and if there is no cramping your good.
ifyour spotting light pink maybe is not a miscarriage, many women spot at the beggining of their pgs....I'm positive you are not mc (or at least I hope you are not) wait and see what happens at the doc's today. Good luck
