Light light cramping, clear vaginal discharge and lower back pain?

well it started on thanksgiving that everytime i had sex i had to stop due to motion sickness, i litterally thought i was gonna puke, then starting on christmas i would get like sharp pains in my abdomen but for the past week now its been real light, now for the past 2 days ive had clear really thick vaginal discharge and i never usually get that not even when im ';ovulating'; and its not time for my period because thats not supposed to come until the middle of the month. but the last 2 months when i have gotten it, it was just barely 3 days long and ive always since the day i got my period have gotten it for a week. i dont know whats goin on..i have 2 kids and never had these symptoms before..could it be an infection? a sign of serious stress what should i do?Light light cramping, clear vaginal discharge and lower back pain?
first question does it have a smell if it has a smell or is thick cottage cheese looking it might be an infection..either way if it bothers u maybe u should go to the doctor and get it checked out

How can i light up my clear cased pc when shutdown?

ok this is the second time i've tried to get an answer to this so pls before i start

1. i am serious

2. yes there is still power available when the pc is shutdown (not switched off)

Now thats out the way i'll explain a little more,

I have a clear cased pc, when i turn it on it lights up blue, when i shut it down the lights go off but there is small red glow that comes from the motherboards red power indicator LED. this led turns green when system is turned on.

i want to add some more red leds to enhance its shutdown state but i dont want to modify the motherboard in any way.

I have the leds i wish to install but need help on powering them when the pc is shutdown.

i dont want a stand alone circuit or something i have to switch on, i want it to come on automactically like the mobo power light.

pls dont answer this question if you can't help

Thank-You.How can i light up my clear cased pc when shutdown?
When you shut down there is no power to the Motherboard or any other part of the computer.

That LED I would think is powered by the CMOS battery on the motherboard to show that it is good, because they don't basically take any power to run.

When it turns green it means that the CMOS battery has been switched off by the power in the motherboard whilst it's running on PSU power.

But you would have to check the schematics of the board to confirm this.

The only way to tap power from the PSU is from the lead going to the on switch as that would be live all the time. But you would have to check what voltage it is with a Volt Meter. How can i light up my clear cased pc when shutdown?
This isnt going to be possible without another circuit board really.

The best way to do would be to have a circuit on something like the power LED.

so when the power LED is on, the RED LED's are off and vice versa.

  • Why can Light travel through clear things?

Ok, so this is one of them really really stupid questions, right? Lol. Now I know I cant throw something through my glass window, but when I shine a light at the glass it goes through it, and I can clearly see the light on the other side of the glass. So following that train of thought, what even makes something clear? Does it have to do with the particles, or what? I don't quite understand. So I guess im asking, why can I see through my window, and not the wall next to it? What make the window ';clear';? And don't just say its clear, what makes it clear? Why can Light travel through clear things?
It's not a stupid question at all. When light strikes an object, depending on what the object is made of, three things can happen. The light can be reflected or absorbed or it can pass straight through. Most, but not all reflecting materials conduct electricity, like shiny metals. The light, being an electric and magnetic disturbance, jiggles the free electrons around and they re-emit the light back where it came from. Most materials absorb light and convert the light energy into heat energy, so if you shine bright light on a dark surface it warms up. If the light doesn't interact with the material at all, it passes straight through, and the object is transparent. This explanation is slightly simplified, but pretty much what happens. Why can Light travel through clear things?
It is clear because it does not conduct electricity. Light does not travel through metals because they are electrically conductive. Light is a traveling electromagnetic wave. When it hits a metal, it imparts forces on its electrons which generate small currents in the metal which serve to cancel out the light wave.

When light hits glass, however, no current is generated because glass won't conduct electricity. Thus, the beam of light is unaltered and passes straight through.

I've thought about this and realized that something like rubber is opaque, but also does not conduct electricity. In this case, I don't know what is causing the light to be blocked. In any case, something which is electrically conductive will typically not pass electromagnetic radiation.
The easiest way to think about it is to think of light as being made up of very very very small particles and most other matter is actually mostly space so the particles can slip in between the molecules of the matter.

Think of a lot of bees swarming. You could throw a baseball through them, right? Because the baseball is pretty small and the bees are smaller and the space in between is comparatively vast.

Of course, if you have enough bees, the ball will stop.

Now, Einstein thought of light as both energy and particles (called photons). Light is electro-magnetic radiation - but the analogy is still reasonable. Ya get enough bees and the baseball drops.
glass is not really a solid. if you left a glass cup out on the table and came back thousands of years later, you have a glass looking puddle. (basically) so you can guess from this that the particles are moving and that they are far away from each other. this is my guess as to why glass is clear. but hey, im only a 17 year old junior so i could be wrong
transparent and opaque are not actual properties of objects, they are the effects of the properties that objects really have. some objects reflect lots of light and let through very little (opaque) whereas other objects reflect very little light and let through a lot (transparent). these are simply the ways that objects interact with light. and the reason you cant throw something through a window but light can still pass through is because that the thing you want to throw is matter and light is energy (however, matter and energy are actually the same thing and our interchangebly but for the purposes of answering your question, we will assume that they are not) so they will interact differently with the window. now, no object can be completely opaqe and no object can be completely transparent. an object can reflect a lot of light, but it will always let through even a tiny amount of light, so tiny that we cannot perceive it. the opposite is true for transparent objects, they can let through a lot of light, but they will always reflect some light, no matter how little.

Why are you painting your side markers? Are you talking about painting the lense like a tint?

If you plan on painting them black, yes its a good idea to clear coat them afterwards to help give it a nice shine as well as preserve the the life of the paint.

I'm a light weed smoker, like 2 joints a month, how long would it take to clear my urine?

to fully be non traceable in your urine, it is 6 months. it doesnt matter how much you smoke, it takes the same amount of time. but it will always be in your hair. if anyone does a hair analyst on your hair they can figure out how much of almost each drug you have taken, even legal drugs liks asprain. luckly for some, alcohol can't be traced by your hair.I'm a light weed smoker, like 2 joints a month, how long would it take to clear my urine?

Is snow clear, and the only reason we see it as white is due to the refraction of light?

The snow is reflecting the light, not refracting. The difference being that the light doesn't get split up into different colours. If you look at water at a very slight angle it can appear white for the same reason, but yo'd be looking at light reflecting off the surface, not refacting, which involves passing through the water.

When light passes from 1 medium to another it refracts, which means a bends a bit. Different wavelenghts of light (different colours) bend to a greater or lesser degree, so the different colours split.

In snow the light gets bounced around in billions of different directions, so it appears white from any angle. In glacial snow you get ground up rock and other particles trapped in the snow. This refacts the light and it splits, with blue light tending to get bent the most, hence glacial snow appear blue. Same affect of particles in the atmosphere make the sky look blue - bends more, and the sunset look red as red light goes strighter (you look towards the sun to see a red sunset, but at 90 degrees to the sun to see the blueist skys)Is snow clear, and the only reason we see it as white is due to the refraction of light?
More reflection than refraction. We see the reflected light as being white. But why? The answer lies in an effect called mie scattering. The small snow crystals, and the surfaces of the crystals first absorb the light, then re-emit it in all directions ('scattering'). Because the crystals are much larger than the wavelength of visible light, the light is reflected back at all wavelengths, so we see the snow as white. If the light passes through (as in a clear solid block of ice), we see the ice as being transparent, because there is no mie scattering. Is snow clear, and the only reason we see it as white is due to the refraction of light?
If you shine a green light on snow the reflected light will be green. If you shine sunlight (a mixture of all colors ... that can be separated in a rainbow) you will see reflected white light. Snow reflects all photons while a pure black surface will absorb all photons and none are available for you to see. Snow is a form of ice which is clear on a lake or pond but looks white as snow because the snow crystals (six-pointed and none alike) can individually reflect light rather than let the light pass through unchanged (like ice and clear glass).
snow appears white due to total internal reflection caused to to lots of air pockets in it(change in medium ice to air) .while ice is clear (mostly) due to relative lack of air bubbles . the same thing happens when we see a bubble under water and a a certain angle of vision it appers to shine like a mirror this is due to fact tht there is a change in medium water to air (denser to rarer)
Although the ice is clear, scattering of light by the crystal facets and hollows/imperfections mean that the crystals often appear white in colour due to diffuse reflection of all spectrum of light by the small ice particles.
You are in-fact right. Think of it like this snow is ice and usually ice is clear however when you chip ice it turns white because light can no longer perfectly travel through it. This works with snow if snow was perfect it would be clear.
It's white. Just like for example a sheet of white paper.

White things are white because they reflect the whole spectrum of visible light.
That is so, or so I believe.
everything you see around you is to do with refraction of light, like the sea although its clear it apears blue
no its definitely white until it melts in your hand then its clear

    hope this helps xoxo
    Supposedly so
You could apply that to anything- all colours are just refraction of light. snow is white.

  • Install clear corner lights on a 95 integra DC any any suggestions?

just looking for a little advice on how to install new corner lights on my integraInstall clear corner lights on a 95 integra DC any any suggestions?
dont listen to that moron about them being illegal. If they are DOT stamped they are legal, you have to use amber bulbs though. I have never done it on a teg, but they are in the bumper in USDM integras. That makes it a relatively simple process. On the back there should be a couple small bolts holding the whole unit in place... remove those and replace with new corner lights.

If it is JDM, or EDM I have NO idea I believe the headlight and corner light is a single unit.Install clear corner lights on a 95 integra DC any any suggestions?
I agree with the above answer. They arent illegal if they are DOT (department of transportation) approved. BUT as stated, an amber/orange bulb will need to be utilized here. You cannot use blue, white, purple or anything else. These colors are not DOT approved. The process is VERY simple to change the lens out.

There will be ONE screw on each lens (left and right). Remove this screw and the lens will come out at an angle if pull on the side the screw was on. Dont pull it out too much because you still need to remove both bulb sockets before continuing. Both sockets turn a certain way and then come straight out. Once the lens is off, replace with your clear lens and put the sockets back in as you removed them. On one side of the lens will be a little tab that goes in a slot just behind the bumper (you will see it if you look in). Put that tab in the slot and puch in the side where the screw goes. Replace the screw and youre done. Do the other side and your project will be completed. Turn the lights on, and check to make sure the bulbs still work correctly and admire your work. Good luck!
Those are illegal so I hope you get them on so you can get a ticket soon.

My pee is a dark yellow to orange usually its clear, and my poop is avery light brown like birch? whats wrong?

It means you gota drink more water dude.My pee is a dark yellow to orange usually its clear, and my poop is avery light brown like birch? whats wrong?
It sounds like biliary obstruction (like gallstones). This might take a bit of explaining.

When red blood cells are broken down, haemoglobin in the blood cells is broken down too, and your liver turns it into stuff called bilirubin. Bilirubin comes out of your liver in bile, and then goes through ducts (called the biliary tree) until it gets into the gut. Some of it gets stored in the gall bladder.

If you have a gallstone blocking a part of your biliary tree, or an obstruction from some other reason, bile, containing bilirubin, builds up. Because it can't get into your gut, meaning you can't poo it out, your poo is pale. Your poo is normally brown because bilirubin gets turned into stercobilin, which has a brown colour. The extra bilirubin that can't get into your gut is taken from your blood by your kidneys and put into wee, which is why your wee is so dark.

Other symptoms you might get are yellowish skin and eyes, itchy skin, and (if it's gallstones) pain in the right upper quarter of your abdomen, especially after eating.

Bottom line is, you should see your doctor.

P.S. Just in case you hadn't realised, urine disorder is not a real diagnosis, pale poo is not a sign of anal cancer, and there is no such job as anal functioner. My pee is a dark yellow to orange usually its clear, and my poop is avery light brown like birch? whats wrong?
If your urine is clear, that means you're drinking more water than you need and your kidneys are getting rid of it. If it's darker, you just haven't been drinking as much water. Nothing wrong with that.

And your crap... idk about that. You're fine though.
well it is called urine disorder

and it could be deadly you may wanna get

    yourself checked out

and also lightly colored poops are often a

    sign of anal cancer
I think it has to do with what your eating and drinking

What color of light is best for plant growth? red, clear, blue or green?

It depends upon the type of plant. Blue light will result in strong vegetative growth. Red light would be optimal for flowering and fruiting. It would be possible to begin with a blue light and switch to a red light when flowering begins. Ideally, a fluorescent light would reproduce more of the spectrum of natural sunlight. A combination of fluorescent and incandescent bulbs would be best. What color of light is best for plant growth? red, clear, blue or green?
Green, and blue don't have as much frequency that red and clear. but red as the highest frequency an any type of colour. but i would just let the sun to be the light. it gets 12 hour or least of sunlight, and least than 12 hours of dark light, depending if it's daylight savings or not. Black light is the best light to give to the plant, for it to grow faster. also don't forget to water it as well. lol, just messy with you. What color of light is best for plant growth? red, clear, blue or green?
Clear or white. Don't use red. You want a high pressure sodium light. It mimics the sun the best. You could probably pick one up at lowes or home depot. If your growing just one plant you could probably get a 50-150 watt for 50 - 150 clams. The larger the more expensive of course. Without knowing what your growing i can't make anymore recomendations. You can't just put your plant underneath any old light either. It has to be a special grow light like HPS. I've heard that some lcd lights work but i would go with a high pressure sodium.
If youre growing pot use a red light.

I only know this because an exboyfriend of mine had a red light in his bathtub from when he used to sell!

What is the total speed of light? (clearer)?

No question light constant speed of 186,000 miles per/sec. It is the ride-on concept that has not been explored.

Here is another illustration: the head beam of car has range of 2 miles only, no matter what, it can reach 2 miles, though, but LIGHT IS CONSTANT. Suppose the car has traveled straight 100 miles, after 1 hour.. What is distance traveled by the light, riding on the motion of car, after one hour?

    Jsaldea12

9.22.09What is the total speed of light? (clearer)?
    speed of light= 300000000m/s

so the distance covered by it in 1 hour , ie. 60 seconds is

60*300000000=18000000000mWhat is the total speed of light? (clearer)?
There's no ';concept'; here. You simply don't understand what you are talking about. Individual photons leave the car's headlights at 186,000 miles per second. The two miles is the distance at which the human eye can no longer resolve the spot of light. It has nothing whatsoever with how far or how fast the light travels, and once each photon has left the light, it has no idea what the car is doing. There IS no light ';riding on the motion of the car';. The light's travelling at 186,000 miles per second. It's long gone.

The light which was emitted right at the start of the hour? It's travelled 186,000 * the number of seconds in an hour.

The light which was emitted right at the end of the hour? It's travelled no distance at all. The photons have only just been created.

I'm afraid NASA are ignoring you because you haven't even reached the level of an average 12 year old yet. Please go read a book on this. You are not ready to be trying to invent scientific concepts - you don't have enough knowledge of the basics.
    The speed of light, in vacuum, is 2.997925 (+/- 0.0000002) x 10^10 cm/sec

    Nearly 300,000 km/h

By relativity the speed of light is constant. It doesn't move any faster because the car is travelling - the light emitted is gone and on its own. The speed of the the car does not add to the speed of the light..
One could argue that the question is meaningless. After all, Force = mass x acceleration where mass is the rest-mass which is defined as the resistance to acceleration. I know it's a circular definition - but that's the best you get. Mass is an intrinsic property of matter. Light is made from photons which are the carrier for the electromagnetic force. Photons have no rest mass.

For something that does have rest-mass:

F = ma (for non relativistic speeds)

    a=F/m

m cannot be zero because it makes the equation undefined. Actually, m cannot be close to zero either because for a given force, the acceleration shoots off towards infinity as the mass nears zero. And we know massless photons travel at a constant speed therefore a tiny mass cannot go that fast let alone shoot off to infinite speed. The relativistic force for a mass at high speed must be described as a dynamic equation of momentum:

    F = dp/dt

where p is momentum (mass x velocity). ( this is a differential equation )

Working this out will reveal that the force contains two components of acceleration:

one parallel to the direction of travel, and one perpendicular to it.

    The eqn looks like this:

    F = ~^3ma|| + ~ma_

It's a tough read in these limited symbols:

    ~ means 'gamma'

    ^3 means 'cubed'

    m = rest-mass of the object

    a = acceleration

    || indicates parallel

    _ indicates perpendicular

Anyway - the point is, even for a tiny mass at high speed you can find a force and it is meaningful to talk about acceleration. But if m=0 F=0 and in both terms the acceleration could be anything. Again... it's undefined.

    Also - gamma ~ is 1/sqrt(1-(v/c)^2)

where c is the speed of light, and v is the velocity that the mass is going. v cannot equal c because division by zero is not allowed. This bolsters the undefinability of 'Force' for a massless particle. v cannot exceed c because sqrt(-ve) is a tough call for real values.

Furthermore, a single photon behaves like a wave. If you try to locate it as a particle, then due to Heisenberg's uncertainty principle the position and momentum cannot be measured simultaneously

    delta X . delta P %26gt;= h_bar/2

Where h_bar is a small constant.

This means that the more tightly you measure position, X, the less certain you are about the momentum P. This is a basic property that cannot be violated. To measure distance D traveled you use

    D = st

and distance is the difference between two positions, x_1 and x_2.

The more you pin down x_1 and x2, the more uncertain is the momentum P and for a massless thing like a photon you could argue that it takes zero time to travel anywhere. This is nonsense really, so again, the question becomes meaningless.

If you pin down the momentum, then the X_1 and X_2 are very uncertain and the photon is smeared over everywhere. Again, rather hard to swallow and the question becomes meaningless.

Perhaps this is why so many people have so much trouble with the speed of light. It might be better to talk of the 'Einstein speed' or something and state it as a cosmic speed limit. This would free up photons to be photons in their own little (big) world without the burden of forever being compared to things with mass.

I have taken Clear Blue Pregnancy test and it came out positive but looked very light. Am I pregnant?

Probably so, the only way the pregnacy test turns positive is because it checks the urine for the hCG hormone.

If you have a line or plus symbol appears, you are pregnant. It does not matter how faint the line is. All pregnancy tests work by detecting a certain hormone in the urine or blood that is only there when a woman is pregnant. This hormone is called human chorionic gonadotropin (kohr-ee-ON-ihk goh-NAD-uh-TROH-puhn), or hCG. It is also called the pregnancy hormone.

HCG is made when a fertilized egg implants in the uterus. This usually happens about six days after the egg and sperm merge. But studies show that in up to 10 percent of women, implantation does not occur until much later, after the first day of the missed period. The amount of hCG rapidly builds up in your body with each passing day you are pregnant.I have taken Clear Blue Pregnancy test and it came out positive but looked very light. Am I pregnant?
False Positives are very rare. I think you are most likely pregnant. It's possible that you are very early on and there was not alot of HCG in your system. I would either make a Dr's appt. to confirm, or buy another test, I recommend the ClearBlue Easy digital, which will say either pregnant or not pregnant.

Good Luck and congrats.I have taken Clear Blue Pregnancy test and it came out positive but looked very light. Am I pregnant?
Probably. If it shows up even a little bit, it means that you do have hcg in your urine. If you weren't pregnant, you wouldn't have any at all. I would take another one in the morning when it is most strong just to be sure though. If you think you are pregnant, please go to the doctor immediately so he can make sure you are healthy.
I have been pregnant 8 times and what I can tell you is even if its light... as long as there is a line you have the hcg in you ';pee'; so yes you are. If it make you feel better wait 2 days and take another one because your hcg doubles every 2 days. Hope this helps
I had taken one before and it was very light and I was 3 months. Not to say you are but chances are good. You should go to your local health center to make sure. Either way, I hope whatever your answer is its what you want. Good luck!
Most likely you are. False postives are very rare. In order to get a line there has to be some hcg in your urine and that only happens if you are pregnant. But wait a couple of days and take another test. Good Luck!
Even if the line is light, it is still a positive. Means your pregnant!

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd test in a few days again to see if the line gets darker.
There are no false positives. A positve no matter how light is a positive :) Hope this makes you happy..and congratulations!
yes even if its the line is light when a second line appears its because the pregnancy hormone is is in your body so yes you are pregnant. Congratulations!!!
Yep. Even a light positive is still a positive.

Take another for reassurance if you need it.

    Congrats :)
Wait a day or two, then take it again. If still positive go to your md and have him do a test. If the rabbit still dies. Your pregnant.
take a clear blue digital test.. that's much more accurate.. i've heard that a faint positive is a positive but then i've also heard that its not..
Even if it is light then it is a positive.

    Congratulations!
It happens to me ALL the time. Just wait and let it happen naturally.

    ';OPEN UP YOUR EYES LET ME REALIZE HERE I STAND IN MY EVERLASTING LOVE!';
A line is a line no matter how light or dark it is. You're pregnant! If you take another on a few days, the line should get darker. :)
You definitely could be! But remember not to let your tests sit for too long before reading them, as this can result in a false positive!
light or dark. a positive is a positive. congrats!
Definitely (if you read it within specified time). Congrats!
Most likely you are. I would take another test just to be sure. Good Luck!!
Take a Clear Blue Digital test. It simply says Pregnant or Not Pregnant.
Congrats! sounds like your pregnant! The darkness doesn't matter it's still positive!
how dark or light the line is doesn't matter it's still positive - yes you are pregnant
Possibly, you should go to your doctor to confirm.
try different kits or simply goto your prego doctor.
Yep you are pregnant but to ease your mind you could try just taking another test.
Maybe you should go see the doctor to be sure if your are or not.
I agree with everyone else you are pregnant you should go to the Doctor to be sure
    youre pregnant:)
Even if it is very faint, it's still there. Yes you are pregnant.
yes you are you dum ***** don't have sex if you don't know what to do

  • I can't make a clear distinction between ';light';, ';lighten'; and ';enlighten';. Could you help me??

Ok, do the following sentences whick i made make sense?

    1. You can light up your future by hard works.

Please light up the candle, i can't see your face in darkness.

2.You can i lighten our heart by listening to some music.

My mood lightened after i heard of the news.

3.Would you please enlighten me as to this problem?

I am desperate to get the answers, i couldn't even sleep last night. Please help~~~ SOS.........I can't make a clear distinction between ';light';, ';lighten'; and ';enlighten';. Could you help me??
    OK:

';Light'; as in 1.: The word ';light'; here means to expose something dark or that you are not able to see. The first example is ';You can light up your future by hard works';. This is an example of a figurative sentence. It can't really happen. In other words, you can't send a real light into the future. But it means you can add a ';brighter'; or more positive outcome to your future by working hard. So it's a poetic sentence. Example two can happen: it means to add light. In this case so you CAN really see.

';Lighten'; 2.: This is also a figurative or poetic sentence. You can' t literally make your heart lighter as in the sense of weighing less, but the idea is that by exposing the ';dark'; part of your heart to the ';light'; of something positive like music your heart can be encouraged out of feeling ';dark';.

';Enlighten'; as in 3: Again, this is a figurative or poetic sentence. A person can't literally be made lighter by someone else. This example is like 2 because what it is asking is ';Mentally I am ';in the dark';, or I can't see a right understanding or direction, so can you share the ';light'; of what you know about this so that I can understand this problem, too?';I can't make a clear distinction between ';light';, ';lighten'; and ';enlighten';. Could you help me??
    You got it.
Light - not heavy or a bright source through which people could see

Lighten - to make less heavy

How do I clear my pass lock security light 2000 Chevy Sil?

security light stays onHow do I clear my pass lock security light 2000 Chevy Sil?
The passlock light is on because of a faulty key lock tumbler and the only permanent fix is to replace the tumbler. A temporary fix is to bypass and reset the passlock security system. Do that by turning the key to the ';on'; position and wait 10 minutes for the security light to stop flashing and then turn the key off for 5 seconds and then start the vehicle.

Why does light of shorter wavelengths produce a clearer picture than light of longer wavelengths?

The ';clearness'; of an image is also known as its resolution. In optics, the resolution of an image is the smallest distance between two objects where the objects are still distinguishable as being separate. The smaller the resolution, the sharper the picture is.

The resolution of an image is directly proportional to the wavelength of the light making the image. That's why light microscopes are limited in their resolution: they must rely on visible light to form images, and the shortest wavelength of visible light is roughly 400 nm. Electron microscopes, on the other hand, can give much better resolution because the wavelength of an electron is many, many times shorter than the wavelength of a photon of visible light; in a scanning electron microscope, the electrons have wavelengths of about 12.3 picometers (about 1/32,500 the wavelength of the shortest visible wavelength). Obviously, these microscopes are capable of producing images in much greater detail. Why does light of shorter wavelengths produce a clearer picture than light of longer wavelengths?
It is also true that using a single color of light (one very narrow range of wavelengths) allows the light to be focussed more precisely by a lens. This is why people who take pictures thru optical microscopes sometimes will use a colored filter.

It may also have to do with the relationship between wavelength and the ability to resolve small things. When the size of the thing you are trying to focus on is about the same as the wavelength of light you are shining on it, the constructive and destructive interference starts having an impact. Why does light of shorter wavelengths produce a clearer picture than light of longer wavelengths?
Light of shorter wavelength has more energy than light of longer wavelength.

A ____ is a clear material that bends light rays.?

A prism is a clear material that bends light rays 2 times, due to its shape.

Any glass or plastic material will bend light rays.A ____ is a clear material that bends light rays.?
    prism

Prisms are typically made out of glass, but can be made from any material that is transparent to the wavelengths for which they are designed.A ____ is a clear material that bends light rays.?
Prism has triangular cross-section, side view is rectangle. Body of water bend light too. Any transparent material bend light some, glass prism bend most.

Why is it that the space shuttle can be seen as light traveling across the sky on a clear night?

Shortly after sunset, or before sunrise, its orbit is not in the earth's shadow. Since the shuttle is mostly white, it reflects light well and can be seen when the sky is dark enough. In the middle of the night, you can't see it.Why is it that the space shuttle can be seen as light traveling across the sky on a clear night?
The shuttle and other satellites can be seen because they are not in the earth's shadow. I'd never noticed this until I was camping in the mountains of Washington. A friend pointed out the number of satellites you could see.Why is it that the space shuttle can be seen as light traveling across the sky on a clear night?
It may be night time on the surface of Earth, but the shuttle is over a hundred miles higher where sunlight can still reach it and be reflected.
it is reflected sunlight. as long as the orbiter is in a path that is not directly behind the earth, it will be high enough to reflect the sunlight and you can see it.

NASA j track software is great
Check out the NASA link below, much info there on the shuttle
because the fire from the engines cause a bright light lol
Sunlight reflection. Only happens a few hours before sunrise and after sunset.
