~warm~Whats so good about california beaches if its not clear or light water??
Southern California is just about the only place in the whole US (except Hawaii) that has sandy beaches and sunsets. On the east coast, you don't get sunset, you only have sunrise. And up the coast in Oregon and Washington, much of the beach is rocky and cold (sea lions go there).Whats so good about california beaches if its not clear or light water??

Only the girls! Nothing else.
California girls. The West coast has the sunshine and the girls all get so tanned.
clear or light water only indicates that there is nothing living in the ocean in that area....it is basically ';dead';, no algae, no intertidal organisms etc. If you want that ';lifeless'; water , you have to go to the tropics.
They are not inhibited with fake people as found in LA.

I'll tell you, it's certainly not the water temperature. Or maybe it is...
-Yeah, the California Girls are definitely one great part about the beach.
-Great waves for surfing or boogie boarding (which is why the water isn't so clear... all the sand and sea life gets churned up)
-When it's 100+ in the city, it's great to cool off at the beach. And look at the California Girls. Did I already mention them?
-Long white sandy beaches, long tanned California Girls.
-Excellent sunsets. Can't get enough of them.
-Calfornia Girls. Like 'em so much, I married one, and got three more.
Well, if the water is red, than it will clear up when the great whites finish eating surfers. The good thing about the California beaches is that you're in Califonia on the West Coast and not on the beach on the East Coast, particularly on the Southeast Coast where people might be trying to hand you a Bible tract while you're unfolding your lawn chair.
Carmel Beach is blue and clear, but cold.
Laguna Beach and La Jolla have clear blue water that warm during the summer. These beaches are pristine, naturally beautiful.
