I went for a simple urine test and when I examined the sample in the clear container, I noticed these tiny white particles floating around, very small, slightly opaque. I am 25 year old healthy female, married with three kids and I have no strange symptoms that would indicate an infection or disease. No pain, no frequent urination, but i have some foul-smell or some discharge, but no burning, etc. What could be causing this? Is it cause for concern? Thanks!I found tiny white particles in my otherwise clear, light yellow urine. Is this normal?
You might have an infection...
I would say urinary tract infection but if there's no pain.. then I have no idea.
You also might need to clean down there a bit more.I found tiny white particles in my otherwise clear, light yellow urine. Is this normal?
Were they like tiny flakes?
I had to collect urine for a medical study once, and noticed small flakes floating around.
The Doctor explained that they were flakes of tissue that come off (from the bladder lining, i believe) and that it was normal.
Though it is normal, in excess it can also be an indication of kidney infection/problems.
