How do i clear the check engine light '94 F-150?

i have a 1994 Ford F-150 XLT with a 5.8L engine. My check engine light is on and i cant find the plug that is normally under the dasboard (i know its on newer trucks). How Do i find out what made it come on and clear it?How do i clear the check engine light '94 F-150?
I would suggest taking your truck to a reputable repair facility and have it scanned. The port is under the hood on that truck. How do i clear the check engine light '94 F-150?
I know on some of the older models there under the hood , but i sure thought on a 94 it 's under the dash , but in any case you can drive up to a auto parts store and they will check it for you and in most cases it's free. You can remove the neg ( - ) cable for about 10 seconds then replace it and that should reset the light as long as a pqart doesn't need to be replaced.
on an obd1 system just disconnect the battery for a few minutes, that light should go out unless the problem is still there. you need a scanner capable of reading the older systems to see what the problem was.
My F1-150 is doing the same thing took it the shop they said that it was the censor light in the truck(try that) uh... then about a week ago it came back on. Maybe ur problem is geting ur engine clean. I hope I help some
