How do I run 300 clear mini lights on batteries? How many batteries / how much power will they need to run?

I have ';Holiday Wonderland'; clear mini lights that come in 2 strands of 150 lights each. Im planning on hooking 2 together to make 300 mini lights per strand, equaling 76 feet of lights. I am using these to decorate for my wedding reception. How do I run 300 clear mini lights on batteries? How many batteries / how much power will they need to run?
You cannot run these on batteries you will need a dc or ac supply.

To run these on batteries you will require atleast 3 car batteries and use a diode for rectification and amplification of current.

If what i wrote above does not make sense to you call an electrician cause you will probably require one.How do I run 300 clear mini lights on batteries? How many batteries / how much power will they need to run?
I understand the bulbs used are AC types and the whole string is intended to be run of the mains supply which is, well. whatever it is dependent on your country.

As said, you cannot run these off batteries but have you considered using LED lights available on ebay?

I'm just about to buy these for outdoor use; they are solar powered with internal 1.5V (only) backup battery for night-time use; that's just one standard rechargeable battery for 100 LED's.

After the initial charging period, you can just cover the solar cell to disengage it whereby the LED's will illuminate, if this is required to run in the daytime. Good for indoor use too.

Perhaps this will give you something to think about as an alternative.
