I am looking for a clear fish light for the hood of my fish tank i cant seem to find it on ebay?

i have just a regular fish bulb in there but it makes my water look like a yellowish color and kinda dull i am tryin to find like a crystal clear one or maybe like day light color one i am not sure if i am makeing my self clear of what i am tryign to say lolI am looking for a clear fish light for the hood of my fish tank i cant seem to find it on ebay?
Chances are your light has gone bad. Most lights make the water dull and yellowish when they are old. If it's new then it's just what that type will do and you should be able to find bulbs anywere. I would go too a pet store to find one because they will have a better variety. Places like walmart have limited supplies. I prefer to use Zoo Med Aquatic lights. They have a bulb that is natural sun in hue. They also offer others of different brightness and hue. You want to make sure the bulb you buy has more intensity than what you have so make sure to look at that and the light spectrum. For instance the Flora Sun bulb by Zoo Med Aqatic has a red hue to it meaning it's more intense in the red range.

yea walmarts got a little compact florescent that will last forever an will give you your brite white light you want, and i think there only 5 or 6 bucks look in the fish department.
Try www.aquabid.com It is just like Ebay except it is only fish or fish supplies.
Try the pet store
Take your bulb to Walmart or someplace, you will more than likely find out you can get the same kind there, in clear. Good luck!
