Is it illegal to have clear flashing lights on your vehicle in Georgia?

I have clear flashing strobes on my truck both front and rear for safety purposes only. If I am on the side of the road with someone needing help and I turn on my strobes so no one will hit us is that illegal in the state of Georgia? Of coarse not using the light while driving down the road. But if I am stationary on the side of the road helping someone can I be ticketed or worse?

Again I stress the lights are for safety purposes onlyIs it illegal to have clear flashing lights on your vehicle in Georgia?
RaGS sez : I live in Georgia, and I've never heard of such a crazy thing in my whole life! Is this maybe a trick question? I'm thinking that this is some kind of a trick question, or maybe it's designed to get me to suborn illegal activity. That's not happening! This IS a trick question!!Is it illegal to have clear flashing lights on your vehicle in Georgia?
if you bought the lights in ga i don't think its illegal but you should call the GA DOT to make sure
According to US DOT, the lights must be tinted amber, if you are not operating a police, fire or rescue vehicle. You CAN be ticketed for using these lights, under the conditions that you have described.
Yes. Unless you have a job that requires you to do that, not just being a good samaratin. No civilian may have any after market flashing lights on their car. Why not just put your hazards on?
