Is there a way to put a clear light polarizing film in a windshield? I don't want to dim hdlghts in deer ctry

I want to be able to use the brightest headlights . It would be benficial to all to be able to use headlights without dimming them.Is there a way to put a clear light polarizing film in a windshield? I don't want to dim hdlghts in deer ctry
Any polarizing film necessarily excludes half the light reaching it. This would make it unlawful to use on a windshield. Furthermore, polarization is only useful in daylight hours, when almost all the light is from a single point: under this and other required conditions (involving the angle of the sun with respect to you and to the road), the glare will be polarized and can be cut by appropriate sunglasses. Neither polarizing nor any other sunglasses are appropriate for use at night. Is there a way to put a clear light polarizing film in a windshield? I don't want to dim hdlghts in deer ctry
It is not legal in most states to put a film on the w/s more than just a few inches down... they do make products that cut down on glare though. PPG makes one called Aquapel that is designed to be a water repellant but will do the same... also, make sure the glass is VERY clean...
Try wearing sun glasses that have a light orange or blue tint, that will help take the sharpness off of ';on coming'; lights.
