Clear Christmas lights or coloured Christmas light which do you prefer?

I like the coloured. I find it hard to see anything Christmassy about clear bulbs. Too me they are light bulbs you would use all year round. If you like clear Christmas lights can you tell me why? We go for red, green %26amp; gold as the basis of our other decorations, and find that the clear lights enhance the beauty without the need to look conspicuous.
i like white lights it seems to be a cleaner look to me kinda like snow ya know. Just my opinion

I prefer white, but apparently blue is very fashionable at the moment
i like the clear ones on my tree cause i got these blue and silver decorations that look really neat with them. its kinda a theme things i wanna do with snow flakes and snow men. but my dad has a tree with multicolored lights and it looks great. he has all different colored bulbs and our kids home made decorations on it. ill probably go that route when im older and have kids. but i can do the cool themes for now.





i love the multicolred ice lights outside peoples houses. and all the multi colored lights on bushes and borderes people do. i have to agree outdoors colors are the way to go.

Me too I like the multi coloured ones, the clear ones are boring, the flashier the better
i decorate a mobile home sales center each year and i use clear lights for all the hedges and bushes and trees and railing and around the decks and doors. the only colored light that i use are for creating water which i use blue rope lights and the arch that i use i use red lights. i also purchased a motion box that i plug into the lights that twinkle to the sound of music being played. to me its just more elegant. i do use red bows and ribbon. i just think all those colored lights look a little tacky. but its your own preference.

Clear Christmas lights can lend an elegant look to one's decor while colored lights provide a festive one. And as for preference, it all depends on what look you're trying to go for.
